Goal: To introduce students to the National FFA Organization and what it has to offer them as a member.

Description: Follow along as this series provides a description and break down of the National FFA
Organization. Students will learn the history and traditions of the National FFA Organization, as well as
discover what this organization can offer them in terms of competitions, scholarships and personal
development.

Objectives:
1. To explain how, when and why the FFA was organized.
2. To explain the mission and strategies, colors, motto, vision, creed, emblem and organizational
structure of the FFA.
3. To explain the purpose of a Program of Activities and its committee structure and the importance of
officers, meetings, conferences and conventions.
4. To describe official FFA dress for males and females and how to appropriately wear the FFA jacket.
5. To describe the levels of memberships and the awards and degrees associated with these.
